The Washboard

September 1st we signed papers to purchase the laundromat in town.  We are partners with Phil and Rachel Slabaugh.  The place needed a lot of repairs and paint but it looked like a good investment.
The back of it has a deck for customers to use and there was an apartment in the basement. We gutted the apartment and cleaned out the basement.  Warren is using it for a "shop" while he is working on the place.
Inside looking east, check out the holes in the floor and the walls.  Fixing the floor is the first priority.
Wascomat washers look terrible but they keep running and running. The dryers line the two outside walls and they are always breaking down. We need to replace those soon. Warren and Jayce are learning to fix them quickly.
Looking toward the coffee bar and counter.  We sell espresso, smoothies and homemade baked goods. We also do Wash-Dry-Fold for people who drop off their laundry for us to do.
There are 11 showers that we sell by the half hour, the attendants clean them in between showers.
So we are starting an whole different adventure in our lives. Living for the Lord is never dull!
